The HaiJiao community will visit the village of Voorhout to experience the Dutch Flower Parade in a
local’s home town. Since all public transport will be closed off an hour before the parade, make sure
you arrive on time or come by bike. The programme will be from 10am – 1pm.
9.50 am Meet at Voorhout Station
Arrive at Voorhout Station before 10am (trains/busses arrive c. 9.50am from Leiden
and Haarlem). We’ll meet at the station. Walk into town and meet at a local’s home.
10 – 10.30am Coffee/tea and pastry at local’s home
10.40am Reserve spots on the street to watch the parade.
11.10 – 12.00 The parade will come through Voorhout around 11.10am
12.00 – 13.00 Dutch Princess Juliana soup and rolls for lunch
